Dream a Little Dream

As she was walking away she felt a pull on her wrist and looked down to see a hand grasping her wrist. She barely had time to recognize who had a hold of her before he pulled her into him. Wrapping his arms around her, his lips touched hers causing her to melt beneath him. Her knees had already gone weak and threatened to leave her at his mercy when he eased their bodies backwards. Pushing her against the side of the building behind her, he raised her up and wrapped her legs around his waist. The feel of his hands traveling over her body made her skin quiver in response to his touch...

The sunlight broke through the crack in the curtains causing her to leave that really good dream behind. One moment she was in a sensual bliss and the next she was thrown back into reality. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she cursed the daylight. "Why couldn't I have had just a little bit longer?" She asked incredulously.

The only answer she received was the cheerful chirping of the birds. She got out of bed and went to her bedroom window. She drew back the curtains inviting the persistent sunshine full access into the room. The birds were chasing each other through the branches of the tree outside her window. They only perched on the limbs long enough to chirp wildly amongst each other before taking flight again. Opening the window for some fresh air, she continued to watch them as she pondered the dream that was so rudely interupted. She hadn't had a dream about him in a long time. Not to say that she hadn't thought about him because she had definitely done plenty of that. The fact that she had seen him recently had to be the reason for that amazing dream.

She had practically memorized what he looked like with his dark hair cut short, brown eyes set in a chiseled facial structure with generous lips. While she sometimes wished otherwise, he was always clean shaved. It's not that he doesn't still appeal to her, she would just like to see how he looks with a rugged appearance about him. She tried to recall what he was wearing a couple of weeks ago when she had seen him at the market. As hard as she attempted to conjure up his image all she could picture was the way his jeans looked as if he was doing them a favor by wearing them. Ok, so maybe that's the only piece of clothing that stuck out in her mind from that day. Some people may call her simple minded but she prefers to look at it as her rights as a woman to be able to enjoy a good backside when she sees one.

But as it was, he's invaded many of her thoughts and dreams over the past year. Maybe, just maybe this will be the summer that her dreams come true. Either that or she'll find someone to replace her dreams with reality. Considering that it's been this long and he still hasn't approached her, it's a very good possibility. Dreams tend to be better than reality anyways. But it would be nice to be able to make that decision based on actual events.
